Weather Situation for Victoria

A broad high pressure ridge extends over the State whilst a trough deepens over the NSW coast. On Friday a low pressure system deepens within the trough which then moves southwards and over the Tasman sea, just off of the eastern Victorian coastline by Saturday before moving away. On Sunday the next cold front crosses Bass Strait and on Monday, a ridge extends once again over the State.
